Speech To Image Effects
It is easy and okay to believe that man-made inventions in Artificial Intelligence (Ai) are new things, at least it so appears. But somehow, they are not exactly new, after all, the scripture says there is nothing new under the sun. Without seeming disregard for the efforts behind these inventions, I’m just trying to posit that every invention builds on an existing idea which may not be so obvious. The point here is that you too can create an idea from the not-so-obvious stuff around you. Well, I think that’s a message for another day! Wondering where I am going with this analogy? Let me tell you a story.
The scripture describes Elijah as a very powerful man whom God used to perform numerous miracles. In fact, he was so powerful that he called down fire from heaven to destroy some fake prophets and even did so again a few times when some people tried to arrest him. I am sure the name Jezebel isn’t strange to many people, as it commonly evokes an image of someone very wicked. So, Jezebel who was the wife of the King of Israel at that time heard of how Elijah had killed the fake prophets and vowed to kill Elijah likewise. Jezebel then sent a messenger (with a message) to Elijah informing him that he would be killed in the next 24 hours. As soon as Elijah heard this message, he arose and ran for his life.
Getting bad or not-so-good news with such a time-activated capsule waiting to explode can be terrifying. But how could a mere message be so terrifying? That is where the not-so-new Ai comes in. The human emotion is the processor behind this terrifying effect of the message Elijah heard. The scripture described the actual effect by saying “And when he saw that” 1 Kings 19:3. This was immediately after Jezebel’s message was delivered to Elijah. The message Elijah heard was immediately converted to an image before him by his Ai processor – the human emotion.
Do you ever wonder why the scripture did not read, “And when he heard that” since Jezebel’s messenger would simply have spoken or read out the message to Elijah? Or we can as well assume it was a written message. Anyway, whatever form the message was in, the point here is that the message turned into an image before Elijah. He saw himself dead in 24 hours as was threatened by Jezebel. He saw himself in the threat and could not imagine a way out and as a result, he became suicidal.
Does that sound familiar? Maybe you are not exactly suicidal like Elijah was, but you have allowed your natural Ai called the human emotion to process some news in a way that terrifies you. It is time to change that effect. News are like darts thrown at you which you may not have control over, but you sure can nullify the effect of that dart just as any warrior would in battlefront. Your physician may have given you an obvious negative news about your health, but you have the power to control the effect of that news on you.
Ai is a very powerful tool and technology has made it clear that this tool is not just here to stay but is here to rule. The question now is, how will your natural Ai process the dart that gets thrown at you every day? What image do you see when you hear or see anything? May I suggest that you have the power to control the image you see with every news. You need to tell your Ai how you want any news processed and stop its untoward effect at the gate before it comes in.
